KL Day 2

22nd Sep 2012 - KL Trip day 2

Only slept for like 4 hours and i'm up for breakkie! Manage to sleep alittle longer cause esther only washed her hair in the morning! We had our first breakfast at federal hotel! :)

Defintely a wide spread of food!

Went back to our room to change before heading out to shop! Another shopping day for us! hehe.

We went back to sungei wang first cause esther was contemplating to buy the blue beanbag toy anot hahhaa! I also need to go back to get a me-me couple tee for boy and i :) Got to slowly hunt through and find the shops! not easy!! Reminded me of when i was in bkk going back to platinum mall to find the bowtie shop for hazel lol!

Me and a bear which i never bring it back lol. i saw it at a xmas road show at vivo few weeks back! :)

When we are done with sungei wang, we headed off to H&M which is just opposite! H&M is located at lot 10! To our surprise is the first day opening hence the crowd! The H&M is defintely much bigger than sg one! Its actually not so crowded though we queue to go in.We ended up getting tops for our bf and nth for oursevles! Got my brother a shirt too :)

Went to the TWG at Pavilion! :) Also newly opened! Get o know there's a twg there from hazel cause her bestie just went there not long ago too! I got all excited and told esther we must go cause i think will be cheaper! And yes its really cheaper than sg!

We went back hotel to put our stuffs and asked the receptionists how to go to the chinatown in KL! She's really very friendly and even got for us a map and draw the direction for us :) Its damn near to our hotel! Probably 15 mins walk! :)

At the entrance of KL's Chinatown also known as Pertaling street! :) Its like a mini bkk to me cause they sell tons of fred perry polo tees, tiff & co bracelets, necklaces and etc. there's like duplicate stalls everywhere! Other than the cheap fake goods, there's also good food there! My favourite is Lok-Lok! hehe.

The wide variety of food at the lok-lok stall! Yes is street side but u are going to steamboat it so i guess all the germs will be gone? lol. U can let them know which stuff u want them to BBQ and which stuff u will just take to your seat to steamboat hehe!

The claypot rice is also another must-eat when you are at there! I've been craving for it since i come back from KL! lol. just that i think its not easy to find good claypot rice in singapore.

I've been wearing this set of accessories for the whole month of dec till xmas! hehe! The solitare snowflake  earrings is from rainbow mochi collection 4! dman bling and big! sometimes its pointless to wear ear studs that are not so visible especially when u have long hair. This snow flake earrings is defintely a good choice! Will wear it for my upcoming years of xmas! hehe! Its of good quality cause none of the blings drop out after me wearing it for 1 month! :)

Another of their earrings! this time is dangling one and is also part of their xmas collection! christmas ornamental earrings! I think it suits normal day too not only for xmas! :). Fret not, is defintely light! not the heavy kind and its the ribbon part is defintely bling!! hehe! Christmas Ornamental Earrings!

And last but not least, the bobby necklace(silver & gold)! I've been telling karen(the owner) that i much needed a gold chunky necklance! Cause i think its super matching with work dresses! There's also a pink&gold version of it! hehe! Chunky necklace is a must have for this season! :)

KL Day 1

21st Sep 2012 - Friday

Set off to KL for a long weekend break with esther! Took the five star coach from boon lay at around 8am! :)

Stop over at the usual eatery along the way after crossing the custom. We shared the fishball noodles. So-So only. But there was a long queue! 

Reached KL by 2pm. Talked a lot and slept on the way there haha! This time we choose to stay at federal hotel. Its a 3-4 stars hotel but with 5 stars service + rooms. Thats told by the travel agency when we booked the trip lol. And its really cheap! no harm trying out!

Not bad right? :) just that probably the blanket was a bit too thin but both of us not those who love to sleep in cold room so we never turn the air-con power till too high and wont feel cold in the middle of the night :)

We walked to sungei wang shopping mall after we put our luggage in the hotel! :). walkable distance! its like 10 minutes walk and we're there! been there before with boy i think 4 years ago when we went to genting and kl after his POP. lol. Its like a bigger version of far east plaza :) 

Of cause things have change since the last time i've been there! lol. theres this hong kong street at the top level. lol. 

Yea no people! hahhaha! cause we went there during off peak season la! lol. 

we asked the sales person from a cosplay shop whats nice for dinner in the shopping mall and they directed us to this hk restaurant. For those who went to taiwan must have been to the restaurant whereby the theme is toilet, theres exactly the same restaurant in kl. But we did not try it out as the sales person say the food there is not that nice for the branch in KL. no idea about the one in taiwan. 

We ordered zha jiang mian and xiao long bao! 

Okay the xlb is not that fantastic cause its different from the normal xiao long bao we eat at ding tai fung! lol. 

Oh and we ordered tau huay for dessert. Its damn nice! cause u can adjust the amount of sugar water to add! Its the traditional tau huay u eat at selegie road not the pudding kind! 

I think we head back to the hotel at around 9++pm and decide to head out to the food street lol. There's a famous food street call jalan alor near our hotel. around 5 mins walk. hahhaa! 1 road away! Mainly all zhu-chao food and also ba kwa! BBQ wings is very famous there too.

BBQ wings and freshly bbq ba kwa! damn nice! the ba kwa + beer is damn shiok haha! malaysia's ba kwa tastes really different from singapore and much nicer.

Gone MIA again for a short while cause i'm busy attending weddings! Attended 2 weddings in less than 2 weeks which one of it i'm the jie mei! :) Tiring yet fun experience! :) Blog more about it some other time!

Went to the fierce wife gala premier preview at vivo gv! Got to snatch the tickets! the tickets got sold out damn fast but gv open up more theaters for it :)  Managed to book the tickets while in office with karen! lol. While i'm typing, she's waiting to give birth! hahaha! will be popping by to visit her either today or tml!

Anyway the main point is i manage to see sonia sui in real life omg. lol. We were there early to see them walk the red carpet! There's many other local celebrities like jessica liu and ann kok who attended the gala premier!

 

I think those never managed to get the tickets came down to see the stars too! :)
