Victor's Kitchen @ Sunshine Plaza

Saturdate with Derp to select our wedding photos! Time really flies and we were too busy till we forgot that we have not selected our photos yet.

#OOTD that day. Peplum top from Redpoppiez :)

We were given 2 hours to select our photos and we were done before 2 hours are up. I guess we were very objective and have a common plan in our mind, which makes the whole selection process easier. I've no idea how other couples can select photos for more than 2 hours, isn't it tiring?

I still remember when we go select our laminates for the new place, we get it done really fast because we already had a theme in mind. So couples, do discuss them out and have a clear objective in mind!

Since our bridal studio is near sunshine plaza, we head over to Victor's Kitchen for our lunch. Derp have tried it before during his uni days but not me! The queue seems to be always long and we did queue a little while before having a seats. The turn over rate wasn't that bad that day.

The whole place was really squeezy and compact.

We sat at the most inner corner and kind of regretted it. lol. When we left, the whole row of people got to stand up and let us out. That's how squeezy it is!

Victor's Kitchen sells mainly dim sum! We love dim sum :)

So here's what we ordered...

They were serving some specials that day and egg tart is one of them.

It was still steaming hot and totally melt in our mouth on the first bite. Not too sweet and totally perfect, I've got nothing to complain about. It's not on their menu though but if you hear from the waitress that they have this special, do order it.

Our custard (liu sha) buns

It's defintely on par with those yummy liu sha baos I've eaten at other dim sum places in Singapore.

What's dim sum without har-gao (prawn dumpling)? :)

It was really hot and the prawns inside was really fresh. The skin of the har-gao is thin enough, I hate those har-gaos with thick flour inside and little prawns inside.

Fried prawn dumpling which tasted as good.

Minced pork with dried vege porridge

This tasted so-so. We shared this because we know we will be full by eating all the yummy dim sums.

Derp's having his liu sha bao. Probably preventing it from dripping everywhere.

Me trying to grab the last har-gao to pose with it but I gave up in the end.

Alright just take a photo without it then haha!

I've got nothing to complain about the dim sum there, and I'm missing Swee Choon at this moment. Our bill costs up to less than $30 bucks which is pretty reasonable. We were already full even before eating the porridge.

The only downside of this place is why is the place soooo compact and cramp? We have to say sorry to many people just to get to the cashier to pay our bill.

I'll defintely go back if I'm around that area and actually Sunshine Plaza do have lots of other food too. A place with hidden gems :)
