It's been years since Derp and I went to JB City Square! Few years back, I go there pretty often to get my contact lens as it is much cheaper over there than the ones sold locally. I had a few years of contact lens supplies back then but it's time to stock up now.
The 100 Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo was held at JB City Square since end of August. When I first heard about it, it was hold in KL early this year. I was tempted to go. But after considering about the air ticket/long hours of bus ride, I decided to give it a miss. This time round, the exhibition has come to JB City Square. It's so much nearer to us and there's no excuse for me not to go. I had an enjoyable 2 hours there! I'll blog about the exhibition soon :)
We reached woodlands around noon time and waited for bus 950 to go into JB. Custom clearance was much faster since there's not a need to fill in the white card now. We were famished after the journey to JB City Square, so we decided to have our lunch first before entering the 100 Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo.
#OOTD to our neighbouring country - MGP's Rei Lee Top in Hot Pink. The review of the top is here
We went up to the top 2 levels of JB City Square to find a hong kong restaurant which we always dined at whenever we are there, but the whole area has revamped. We took sometime to re orientate ourselves.
We passed by this really big polaroid camera (it's actually at JB City Square's Action City) and it's in my favourite color :) Can't help but to take a photo with it.
The many many polaroid cameras on display. All so chio!
The way they display it is also very unique, machiam selling cakes haha! The pictures turned out to be quite dark because there's strong spot lights emitting from the display cabinet of the polaroid cameras.

There were long queue at most of the restaurants. We eventually settled down at Kurotomon Ramen Sumitak aka 黑登门 as Derp was craving for ramen :)
The menu was actually quite complicated and we took quite sometime to understand how it worked.
It's full of Jap words! We figured out the menu was arranged according to the soup base they served, and then it was sorted by what are the various ingredients they offer for the different soup base.
We look through the menu while waiting for our seats so by the time we sat down, we immediately submitted our order. We were really hungry!
Derp's Aka Maru Ramen - RM 29
It comes with 1 cha siew, 1 braised pork, 1 flavoured egg, 1 seaweed and spring onion.
Mandatory shot and I think he's really hungry hence that face lol.
My Shiro Maru Ramen - RM 29
My ramen toppings are the same as Derp's ramen, the only difference was with the soup base.
My very blur picture because Derp took it for granted that my iphone will focus automatically -_-'.
Both of us love our ramen a lot and find it nice! Portion wise definitely not for the big eaters but it was just nice for us. Stay tuned for the next installment of this JB trip!
