CNY Luo Hei Lunch @ Paradise Dynasty :)

Its the first day of March and TGIF! :)

I went for a long run just now on a friday evening. Indeed a good way to relax and wind own to the start of a lovely weekend. Just had a bathe and i can't sleep yet though i need to because i'm waking up 7++am on a sat morning to bbdc then back to pioneer for exercise lesson. Feeling more awake now so i shall blog about my cny luo hei lunch with colleagues.

Its been a long time since all of us gathered together to sit down and talk and eat. The last time we had a gathering was during xmas movie gathering + seoul yummy i guess. But that time is without kelvin and karen cause she's doing her confinement. During emme's baby shower not all of us went and so we finally met up on Saturday for luo hei lunch!

Read on ladyironchef's blog about places to have your cny luo hei lunch or dinner and he recommended Paradise Dynasty for its 2013 CNY set meals and its quite affordable. While doing my research, many restaurants set meals range above 70++ per pax but paradise dynasty set meals range from 30-40++ per person for a 8 course set meal. Quite worth it i guess.

But the downside to it is Paradise Dynasty do not take reservation and we must walk in. I was the first to reach there that day lol. Took the no. and waited for the rest to come.After all of us came we hurried them for a round table. It was quite full house at that point of time. Manage to get our table and settled everyone down including emme haha!

We decided on the fortune set. Anyway is not we, is just hazel and me because the guys simply cant be bothered -_-".

Luo Hei time! My 3rd one for 2013,

Btw we are the only table who did the luo hei so loudly and we are the only youngest group of people doing luo hei! haha! Most of them around us are families with grandparents and kids.

Roasted crispy chicken with prawn crackers.

I've lots to comment on this dish. This pork belly is SUPER ULTRA fattening. None of us ate the top fatty meat part, we just chop it away and leave one side on our plate. The middle layer of the meat actually contain a little bit of the fats just that the top part is totally fats As i did ate the middle layer, i know the top part confirm yummy one. The fats of the meat will just instantly melt in your mouth that kind but it will also melt somewhere in your body and store there for life :) Disgusting max but overall the dish is not bad.

Vege with super crunchy stems and mushroom.

We also have noodles and dessert was tang yuan with ginger soup. :) No photos taken for that one.

It's harder to meet up nowadays since we are all seperated but nontheless we'll still try to meet up on important occasions i hope. :)

#OOTD - Love Bonito Covet Levine Dress in Crimson! It comes in deep plum too and i find it not bad. Anyway i should have gotten another size smaller because is quite loose. :( It belong to the covet (perimum) collection so its a little more expensive that usual. Sad that i didnt send back for exchange and got to bear with the looseness of the dress. But the lace of the dress is really of good quality maybe thats y is more expensive.

Anyway that concludes my CNY Celebration in 2013! Its been a enjoyable one though i'm consistenly worried about putting on weight! But its once a year so just eat max and then time to work hard after cny :)
