Finally got a chance to meet up with esther and claire for dinner last thursday. We haven't met since esther's wedding. Though is less than 1 month but all of us feel as though we haven't met for the longest possible time lol.
Our meetup nearly got cancelled because Esther was on MC that day but she felt better after resting at home. The day before she got severe cramps for the whole day and she thought she's going give birth. She stayed in hospital to get monitored after work that day but thank goodness it was just a false alarm. She was given MC and rest at home before meeting us :). Glad that she's well now.
We decided to have our dinner at Sushi Express @ Citylink. It's our first time there except for Esther. There's a a 50 minute rule and one is not allowed to hog the seats/tables longer than that. But actually if you are going there in big groups, it is easier to get a table as they have cushion seats for 3-5 people.
Unless there's other big groups of customer waiting for the seats, you can just sit there whole night because that's what we did! lol. About 90% people waiting for seats are mainly finding seats for 2. Whatever it is, we got the luxury to enjoy and slowly eat for the whole night. We do constantly look out around us and there are empty tables for big group of customers so no worries for the night haha :)
Everything is at $1.50 per plate. If you are a salmon lover, you'll love this place like i do haha. They do have quite a number of salmon dishes for you to choose from.

Okay i dont really know whats this but is nice. I think is scallop. lol.
This is defintely a hot favourite there. Grilled salmon sushi :)

Btw there's also some other flavours like tea flavoured pudding and coffee but we concluded mango is the nicest. :)
We ate a total of 22 plates in total and there's 4 of us. We can't really eat much nowadays as compared to when we were younger.
No idea where's claire looking at. Probably eyeing some food lol.

The overall dining experiece at sushi express was not bad. But after dining in for a shorts while, all the food just got repeated on the conveyor belt and they only serve sushi. No chawanmushi or whatsoever but they do have miso soup. It will be a good and affordable place to satisfy your sushi craving :)

Walked over to dessert.cup at raffles city shopping centre to collect cupcakes that I ordered from Jase the day before.
Dessert.cup new flavours this month are the Mangolicious(Top right) and Choco Lava Fudge(bottom middle).
I also requested for Creamy Oreo(Top niddle) and Red Velvet Cupcake(bottom left). Jase added in the chocolate cheese cupcake for me too cause he told us it's not going to be sold anymore. I'm glad to have at least tried it before its gone forever haha.
I tried the oero, red velvet and mango cupcake while boy cleared the rest.:X. The cupcakes are really awesomeeee. Though the price may be a little more ex than the other cupcakes elsewhere, but that's because dessert.cup cupcakes are generally bigger in size. It's defintely worth it.
Do try the new flavours Choco Lava Fudge and Mangolicious. You won't regret :). There's even mango pudding inside the mangolicious cupcake haha! Thats a surprise to me becuase i didn't expect it. The choco lava fudge is selling like hotcakes because when we went there to collect our cupcakes there's only 1 left for the day.
