After We left 十份, it's time to head to Taipei 101! By right, it should be the 2nd last day schedule but our tour guide rearrange it because he find it better this way, since it's on the way before We head down to Tai Chung.
Read the Part 1 of my Taiwan Trip Day 2 here if you haven't do so. :)
We were given 2 hours to shop at Taipei 101.
Our other tour mates do not wish to go up to Taipei 101 observatory deck so they went to have their lunch first. In the end, our tour guide bring Carl and Andrea, Derp and me to go get the tickets. Actually, We were quite hesitant to go up anot because it's 900NT for 2 person.
Thanks to our tour guide who have the Taipei 101 credit card hence, We can get the tickets at 450NT per person, if not it will be 500NT per person. It's consider quite expensive for that few seconds ride up the fastest elevator.
Our tickets :)
View from the Taipei 101 Observatory Deck. Seriously, buildings and more buildings. I guess at night will be prettier? :)
He using the binoculars to peep into someone's house. hahaha!
The wind damper which stabilize the whole building. Amazing isn't it?
The 101 mascot is quite cute eh? lol. It's actually everywhere. There's different type.
We went up to the outdoor observatory to see whats out there.
Basically, nth much and it's super windy which make our hair super messy lol.
Yet another Taipei 101 mascot. A bigger version haha.
We were on the way out whereby We will passby souvenirs and etc. Saw this super big purple crystal rock/cave. probably 3 to 4 times bigger than the one at my house.
The crystal rock/cave as compare to Derp's hand.
A shot of me in Taipei 101 shopping mall. Seriously nth much in Taipei 101, except branded stuffs. It's like our paragon.
We head to Ding Tai Fung for our lunch :). We already spotted Ding Tai Fung when We were outside Taipei 101 and decide to eat that.
With the cute Ding Tai Fung mascot. A compulsory shot for tourist.
The ordering system not much different from Singapore.
The must order xiao long bao!
I would say their xiao long bao are guaranteed juicy :)
I ordered zha jiang mian for myself.
Derp had the braised beef noodles without beef inside. He just want to try the soup so he's okay to go without the meat. The person did inform us beforehand.
Our bill worked out to be less than $20 sgd. Cheap isn't it?
After our lunch, it was a 2-3 hours bus ride to Tai Chung. All the way from Taipei to Tai Chung.
We had a stop over near a convenience stall. Grab some chips to munch on the way cause We were hungry. The tour guide was saying us that "want to eat dinner liao still eat chips??lol.

The Doritos rocks and not forgetting the lays! Love the variety of chips they have.
We checked into Beacon Hotel which is just above Feng Jia Night Market. So people, just choose this hotel if you want to spend a night at Feng Jia Night Market. Strategic location!
It was a much smaller hotel compare to the one the night before BUT due to it's good location, nth to complain about. It's cosy and good enough :)
Yet another #OOTD shot.
View from the hotel room.
After We've settled down, time for the night market! We have the whole night to shop at Feng Jia night market hehe.
We had dinner at this restaurant in Feng Jia Night Market, but because they were busy clearing tables for us, so I went around to start my shopping spree first. Don't want to waste anytime :)
The highlights of the dinner was suppose to be the king crab, but it was really disappointing.
Kong ba pau! Part of the dinner.
The king crab which is not at all fresh and really dry meat. Not at all succulent juicy meat!
We had our stomach not fully filled, save space for night market food! hehe. We decide to get some drinks first before We start walking around the night market.
Derp choosing some sour drink and not milk base drink cause he's quite lactose intolerant.
I had the cheap papaya milk with 700CC of milk. lol. There's places which add 1000cc of milk! Thats a lot!
We didn't really eat any street food after our dinner, We mainly went to shop for clothes and shoes :) We bought night market food back to our hotel in the end because it's just so convenient.
We tabao some muah chee back. This is defintely nicer than the one I had at Shilin Night Market.
We also ta bao this beancurd back.
We had it with peanut. The peanut is soft enough and the beancurd is not overly sweet. We couldn't finish it that night because We were just too full.
Picture of me at Feng Jia Night Market carrying all the fod back to hotel. lol.
With the Stal Real mascot. Btw, only till few days back then I realised Stay Real is open by Mayday.
With Xiao Zhu! hehe.
If you're a fan of smelly toufu, this is a MUST TRY. Just located near to the entrance of Feng Jia Night Market. The queue was shorter after 10pm.
We went back to the hotel before that and came down again to bring Derp's t-shirt to change to a bigger size. When we see the queue is short, We decide to go for it and never regretted even though our stomach can't contain much food anymore.
50NT for a box of it. Less than $2.50 SGD. Cheap max!
Look at the portion and the tou fu's skin is just so crispy. We added chilli to it and it's really good.
We also ta bao the 米雪糕 to try. It's actually glutinous rice with pig blood. Somewhere along that line. We saw it in Shilin Night Market but didn't give it a try. When We reach Feng Jia Night Market, Derp was thinking to try it and I also have that crave to try it. lol. We added chilli to it which I think will taste better than non-chilli version. It tasted so-so.
Some other stalls in Feng Jia Night Market
Our hotel!
A shot of us at our room level waiting for the lift to get down lol. Going down again to change size of Derp's clothes.
Us at Feng Jia Night Market!
Loots of the night.
Derp bought a shoe and I bought a pair of flat which have been wearing till now. I threw my old flat straight away when I reach back the hotel and I wore the new one out the next day :)
Clothes were cheaper at Feng Jia Night Market too but I still prefer BKK clothes!
Overall, Feng Jia Night Market is a much better night market than Shilin Night Market. Shilin Night Market is too overrated and not that big at all. Feng Jia Night Market is like 2-3 times bigger than Shilin Night Market.
