28th April 2012 - BKK Day 1
Our flight is at 10:40am! Took a cab down around 7 plus to airport for check in! It was raining once we left house la! Manage to run to a bus stop, and theres totally no cab! gosh! but heng there's a cab opposite who saw us then he faster make a u-turn ahead and drive to fetch us! =)! Save the money to call cab! almost wanted to call le!
Waiting to check in! Btw inside my pink luggage, inside got 1 more cabin trolley which put all our clothings to bring there. so basically the pink luggage is empty de! But we came back with it filled max! LOL!
After check in, we went to have breakfast at delifrance before boarding!

Landed in BKK airport around 1 plus pm! But it was damn crowded! So many people waitng to cross their custom. After getting our passports chop, collected the luggage, took escalator down to buy SIM card! Configured and everything before we took cab down to our hotel - baiyoke sky hotel! =)
Weather was damn hot in BKK!
Checking in was fast! =) They gave us a room on the 62nd level! I think they think we wanted a seperate bed, so they gave us a room with 1 king size bed, and 1 single bed. lol! In the end the single bed was used to put our stuff la!

Unpack our stuff and we are ready to go out explore! We made our way to platinum mall from our hotel! It's 1 straight road there but cause is weekends, is 1 whole stretch of pasar malam below our hotel before we can reach platinum mall! Btw we really take out the map and navigate! lol. Thanks to karen for the map she got for me and spending the time with me in office going through it! lol.
Decided to have dinner at the jap restaurant in platinum mall which were recommended by quite a lot of people! Located at 6th floor of platinum mall! On the way up to 6th floor, i'm really amazed by the no.of wholesales stalls in platinum mall! Btw on the way up, i already got myself 2 dresses. lol. Btw there's 2 platinum mall! Karen taught me to spot which the one that has the jap restaurant. However the 2 malls are link up. so is damn big la!

Boy and i ordered the same set meal! I think the whole dinner costs us around 20 dollars? =). It was quite filling! But i think around 5 plus we had our dinner already! haha! Hungry after the flight.
After dinner, we take escalator down again and decide to walk over to central world to get naraya bags!
Outside central world having some roadshow! Its like walking along orchard road in singapore! No diff!
Outside the naraya outlet! Feels like is their LV shop haha! Damn atas! Spend like nearly 100 sgd there! Mainly help people buy and also souvenirs for girlfriends and mum! Its damn crowded la!
Anyway everynight in BKK i went there lol. Cause realise i missed out someone's gift. First day feel more lost but the next few days i go in less than 15 minutes i'm out! Already know what designs i wan to get le!
We walked quite a distance to siam paragon to go to the supermarket there to get some snacks! But we never get much cause the convenience store at our hotel lobby also sell those stuff. reckon that we should go back there to buy. Around 8-9 we started heading back to the hotel, got to squeeze through the pasar malam again! damn crowded! By right is a 10 minute walk, i think it took me 20 minutes to get back! lol.

Damn nice alcohol. lol. Yea everynight i had 1 bottle! dirt cheap!
The snacks that i got! The milo chocolate especially for my colleagues! Karen bought it that time and they crave for it so ask me to buy more since i'm going there too!
The naraya bags! Thats not all cause the next few days i went to get another 4-5 more! lol.
