New Nails Colour, Eyebrow Embroidery @ The Best Beauty

I went Jurong Point last weekend to do my nails at Beauty Bar :). I've got classic manicure package from them, I can't really remember how much is costs me but probably 6 times for $100 plus. I can choose to top up if I wished to do gelish nails for occasions or long lasting purposes.

I chose to do classic this time cause I merely want to trim my nails haha. It's getting way too long and sharp. I chose a dark colour this time for my fingers. It's my first time choosing a dark color for my nails and I'm surprise it actually turned out not too bad haha! I got bored with light colours for my nails everytime i do manicure hence decided to try something new.  Guess I didnt make the wrong choice, shall try other dark colours next time again hehe. Like maroon or dark blue. :)

I might go back there to do my nails again before I go Taiwan in May hehe. 

Other than getting my nails paint, I pluck up my courage to go for Eyebrow Embriodery! It did came to my mind to get it done before CNY but I'm glad I never do it then because I will look like Crayon Shin-Chan (La Bi Xao Xin) for the whole of CNY. 

.Anyway Eyebrow Embroidery is not Eyebrow Tattoo. Eyebrow tattoo leaves a greenish blue colour after it fades off over the years but not Eyebrow Embroidery. Eyebrow Embroidery only penetrates through the top layer of the skin and that's it. It probably last 2-5 years depends on your skin type. 

Oh and why did I go for Eyebrow Embriodery? Simply because I dont have much eyebrow in the first place, though it can be saved by drawing la but I always think i anyhow draw and at times I will over do it. I did my eyebrows at Best Beauty Centre @ JP since I always get my eyebrows trim at there. Who say little eyebrow no need trimming? haha!

With eyebrown drawn but derp said whenever i draw my eyebrow, i look like jean gray from x-men. 

The process took around 1 hour plus inclusive of applying the numb cream on for around 15 minutes or so. During the whole process it's actually painless. Eeach time she will go from inner to outer for 1 eye and do it repetitive for 3 time to let the colour go in. So by the 3rd time or so it starts to get pain but overall is endurable. No pain thereafter unless u go and touch it.

Btw, they shaved off my ends and lifted my whole eyebrow up so as to make my face look slimmer and sharper. woo hoo! She did one side for me first and show me, really got some difference.

They gave me a cream to apply. Btw I can't let water touch my eyebrow for 1 week which makes washing face a chore. I would suggest you to go watsons get the facial sponge before you decide to do eyebrow embriodery. The eyebrow would look particularly dark after you did it and it will fade much more after it flakes.

It's been 4 days and my eyebrow haven start to flake yet. Emo cause I dont want to look like la bi xiao xin! I'm looking forward to see how it looks like after it flake. It's said to look natural and brownish. We shall see. I can't wait to wash my face normally again. Just another few more days :)

I'll update again on how my new eyebrow look :) I would also be going back to do a touch up 3 months later . By right it should be 1 month but to let the eyebrow last longer, I can go back at a later time then. Just wondering do I need to go through another 1 week of can't wash face properly days again.

Nike She Runs Singapore

Nike She Runs Marathon here i come! :)

I've actually registered for it 1 day before the offical release date lol. haha! They actually have a special link for people to register first before offical release. I registered it with karen so that there's like 5 dollar discount each for both of us :).

It's my first ever marathon. Joining at least 1 marathon this year is part of my new year resolution but to find a marathon which starts at a not-so-early timing is hard. So when I realised Nike She Runs is held on a sat and during evening time 5pm, it matched what I wanted lol.

Another run i'm interested in is the pioneer run or jurong lake run. Missed the pionner run last year because I need to be jie mei for hazel's wedding lol. I shall go this year! I scare next year no chance liao cause by then I might have shifted out of Jurong.

 I thought I could start training this weekend but I was down with fever a few days back. 37.9 degrees! Not only fever but backache. I went for a run the day before I caught a fever. I thought it could due to after exercising not enough water or whatsoever, but when I returned to work again, my stomach just dont feel right. I've no appetite, there's sharp pain at my admoinal area and I need the toilet! 

I decided to head back to the doctor today morning again on a saturday to get some pills for it and doctor just concluded that it's gastric flu! oh my! She said the fever and backache came before the gastric flu started.  

Thankfully for the pills, I no longer need to keep going to the toilet and I feel that anytime i will dehydrate. I seriously need my health back and start training for my marathon! Normally i run 2-3 rounds below my house which is 3.6km max. I shall tell myself to run 3-4 rounds nowadays!

Lucky Dessert @ JP, BBQ Chicken, Ministry of Food

Derp and I selected our HDB flat last fri! :):). I'll talk more about it in another post and probably everything you need to know about HDB BTO the next time. 

I took a full day leave instead of half day because I doubt I'll have the mood to work somemore it's a friday. 

Just nice Esther was on 2 weeks marriage leave and I remember that hahah! She's the first and probably only one who came into my mind when I was thinking about who's free during a weekday. 

When I'm on way home from flat selection, she told me she need a haircut. After some discussion, I asked her to go chapter 2 to cut her hair since I have free hair cut vouchers. I called to help her booked but my hairstylist is on leave. Sad! I don't really know who to recommend her liao so I just tell the person any hair stylists will do. 

My bestie super good life! I helped her book her hair cut appointment, I helped her pay when she's done lol. Thats what best friend are for i guess? lol.  I met her after her haircut and we went for dessert :)

I'm had the mango sago pomelo thingy, the mango super big piece. Esther had the red bean soup with tang yuan, we ordered the durian roll + beancurd to share because its on promo for afternoon teabreak.

It's my 3rd or 4th time eating at Lucking Dessert and I do love their desserts alot especially their famous durian and mango shaved ice. I think their desserts are more taiwan style as compare to Ji De Chi in JP also.

We went to kiddy palace to shop for baby stuff for my god son lol. Seriously I feel so lost there, I can't really give much comments on which cloth to wipe baby face is better haha! Anywya Esther managed to get some stuffs there that she wanted to get so not that bad la haha! Being a parent is never easy, there's too much things to know. 

She drove me down to fetch her husband before the 3 of us head to Far East. Actually we were supposed to meet to go far east to shop because I wanted to visit Hollyhoque shop front. But we reckon we won't spend so much time shopping so haircut + dessert first. Anyway to my disappointment, I never buy anything from them after trying like 4-5 pieces? sad. But it's better for me to try rather than I just get it online if not it will be a waste of money.

I trained down to meet Derp at Tiong Bahru Plaza for dinner around evening time. Initial plan was to eat ramen from a restaurant there but it close down. -_-". We ended up dining in at BBQ chicken. 

There's set dinner promo for selected main course which comes with drinks and soup. I tried before their lunch promo and it's quite affordable. :)

We headed back to JP to walk the japan fair which was there for a week or more. Everyday after work I'm bound to grab some food from the japan fair hehe. Too hard to resist though. Just love Jap stuffs :)

A picture with this one piece poster. They are promoting naurto shipudden game and also one piece games on PS3. We stood there awhile to watch the game play of one piece. damn nice! anyway ps3 has always been on one of my to-buy things for my new house lol. can't wait~ 

There's this first love patisserie booth but the cake is freaking ex. One slice cost around $6. Didn't buy it to try but i love their name. First Love :)

Derp received $80 for being a member of safra and he have been rushing me to use it lol. We decide to dine in at Ministry of Food @Jp after my exercise lesson on Saturday for a late lunch.  

My Saturday usually starts super early every week, at times when I need to run some errands before my lesson I got to wake up as early as 7-8am. O.O Though tiring but after my lesson iIfeel energetic lol! I did thought of signing up for another lesson on sat morning just before my current lesson but I shall see how. I would really need to wake up at 8am on a Saturday if I do so. But anyway exercising is definitely a good way to kick start your weekends :)

Oero Milkshake is defintely a must have for Derp and me whenever we are there. yummy! :)

Derp ordered their Tan Tan Spicy Ramen. so-so only and I remembered the other time he came he also orderd this. 

I ordered the bibimap. Its so plain and I've got to ask the waiter to bring me extra sauce to add on. I'll properly ordered some other stuff  from MOF the next time provided if i'm going back there again.

Saw this on-going cosplay compeition when we walked around. I have no idea who is the one with such a huge weapon. Oh and I'm disappointed with the guy acting as Kirito from Sword Art Online.

Random Updates

Boy asked me not to call him boy on my blog and instead he asked me to name him as Derp. lol. And I am Derpina then. -_-". Btw derp means boy in meme language and derpina means girl haha! Go google it if you are unsure what the hell is meme language. My derp loves meme :) I even bought us meme shirts from KL back then haha!

I have sent my blackberry to repair since wed and it's not back yet till now -_-".  Have been using my nokia  E51 since then till now Though it sucks but it's really a very durable phone despite it being in a very chui state. The nokia e51 went through 2 years with derp when he's in NS, 1 year after he's in NS before he change to his iphone. Then few months later i'm using it once i start work before i bought my blackberry. But I must say the battery life of the nokia phone is better than my blackberry.

Karen bought me a rilakkuma strawberry biscuit from bkk. Thanks babe! :) She passed it to me on her first day back to work after her maternity leave. Time really flies.

So sweet looking lor the packaging. I even asked her y not chocolate cause i'm not a strawberry fan, she told me cause this is pink and my favourite rilakkuma so bo bian not chocolate de, if not i think the packaging will be brown.

Oh btw, i'm munching on it now while i'm blogging, the biscuit are all heart shape form and got some jap words on it la. The strawberry aint too sweet :). I better find out where she get one and go stock up on it when i go bkk next time!

I went JP to run some errands last weekend and happen to saw this cat competition at the centre stage area. While walking there I've noticed many owners hugging their cats waiting to go up stage for the competition.

The most left side cat is wearing some chinese oriental highness clothing haha! All these cats damn good life but most of them are stray cats. I'm glad that they have found the right owner :) And yup don't anyhow bring back stray cats and end up abandoning them!

Btw if you are wondering why i'm into supporting cats, the reason is I've started feeding stray cat. One fine day, I saw this pregnant cat below my house while I'm taking my usual route back. Not once but quite a few time. I do think she's pregnant but now i'm starting to suspect she's just fat -_-". Can some cat experts tell me is she pregnant or fat?? Her ears are chip okay so means sterilize before right??

I do have a love-hate relationship with her though. Bought a cheaper food for her before and she walked off -_-'. After she eat finish she will just walk off arrograntly too. seriously see her meow until like dont know what makes me soft hearted. hai~

Last but not least, I'm on the last book of fifty shades! woo hoo! I've finished fifty shades of grey, fifty shades and darker and finally its time to read fifty shades freed!

 p/s: I dont know about others because i think some girls might hate christian grey, but to me he's a ideal partner :x lol. feel so shy saying that but yup i do think he's perfect depsite being fifty shades of fucked up at times lol. Pardon me for using that word but thats what is being written in the book! I'm just quoting it :)

I do think it's a really nice read and totally worth my time. Do read it if you are hesitating whether to read, you won't regret hehe.

Day out at Bugis :)

I went for a haircut last Saturday at Chapter 2. My hair grow super fast and its like 1 month or so and i bth my hair already. Just wanna trim it. My hairstylist, kent, recommended me to do a hair scalp treatment which i think i should have done it long ago after i dyed my hair for cny. Since i have the free time now why not? :) 

I love hair treatment especially hair scalp treatment because of the minty feeling. I went other places before to do treatment for my scalp , also minty one. i love the feeling haha.

Headed to bugis to meet boy for a date :). Purpose was to visit bugis plus, drink my fav wo ai taimei, get a new clutch for myself and shop a little at bugis street :). It's been ages since i've done that though. Most of my clothes or should i say nearly all are bought online? Bugis street 10 dollars clothes might not be as good quality as blogshops.

Look of the day after my haircut :)

Finally got my hands on milktea omg! It's been half year since I drink milk tea. Anyway I shared the milk tea with boy and no pearls hehe. I bought some korean meatball while boy got himself  bacon cheese sausage to bite before we set off to do a little shopping.

I finally got myself a new clutch from Guess - Bugis Junction(pics below). I've been wanting to change it since ages. Proceeded on to bugis street and I only got myself a denim jacket - something which I wanted for very long just that everywhere is so expensive especially those in giodarno.

Headed off to Bugis Plus and I must say Bugis Plus is a awesome place now especially with the Garena Stadium and other entertainments they have at the top 2 levels. We went into a throw darts centre, the staff was really friendly and even offered to let us throw a few darts to try for fun. lol. We didnt try it but we'll just go there to play a few hours next time then.  

Garena Stadium was having League of Legend(LOL) competition when we passed by. Feel so gian to play the game now. Should i?? Btw garena stadium is really cool especially when you can see live competition going on :)  

Settled our dinner at Zebra.C. We originally wanted to eat at Poulet but the queue is just too long.

 Nvm We'll go back there soon.

Cute graffiti but their food was quite disappointing. :( We ordered the set meal which comes with 2 sides. We chose the ice lemon tea and dessert for our sides.

Boy ordered the spicy sausage noodles with cheese. In short maggie mee with cheese and sausage lol.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken rice in hot stone. Is super hot lor. I've got to eat it damn slowly. The chicken was really tender and thats because is thigh meat, the sauce is a little too sweet. I finished the chicken meat and left a lot of rice there.

I chose my all time favourite creme brulee for dessert. Not that bad but not the best i've eaten. The burnt layer on top is too hard.

Boy ordered the mango sago. I tried a little and okay it tastes normal.

Though the food was disappointing, but the total bill after gst and whatsoever only costs us $24 :)

Bought 1 Red Velvet cupcake from Twelve Cupcakes before taking the train back. They was about to close liao but i'm glad there's still some left hehe.Their cupcakes are really much smaller than the ones at dessert cup. The cream cheese they use does not taste as concentrated as the one i ate at dessert cup.

Chicken Wraps, Smoked Salmon Wraps, Jap curry Rice :)

Decide to make wraps for dinner earlier this week. Sometime I just dont know what to ta bao and yet I wish to have something healthy for dinner.

I bought everything that's needed to make wraps from NTUC :)

Ready to eat roasted chicken, president cheddar cheese, wraps, salad veggie and thoousand island sauce.

Toasted the cheese on the wrap first before putting veggies, chicken meat on it. Didn't really put thousand island sauce cause actually is quite nice liao hehe.

Made a total of 5 wraps, 1 for my mum and 4 for boy and me.

Boy did the chopping of chicken up, while I'm in charge of the veggie, toasting of cheese on wrap :)

Dinner is served. The wings and drumlets we ate it seperately.

I went after work on tuesday and it always ended late. Went NTUC to get black pepper smoked salmon(I actually saw it when I buy the roasted chicken that time and tell myself to try smoked salmon wrap next time) to make wraps again.

It tastes as nice too :) Actually it is easier to make than the chicken but more costly. :(. If not I dont mind having it more often.

Few days back, boy and I cooked japan curry for dinner. I've bought the curry cubes quite awhile ago and have been wanting to try cooking it. I bought the medium hot one. Its really yummy!

Boy prepared the carrots, potatoes and onions before i reach home to cook the rice haha.

If I have a air fryer, I would air fry some pork cutlet and use my happycall to make omelette to match with jap curry. Damn shiok! Shall try it next time when i move in to my new house haha!

Btw boy and I went to get the hot curry cubes instead of medium hot. Shall challenge it soon and I can't wait to cook jap curry again :)

The really hot jap curry we try before is from coco ichibanya, really make us sweat and I can't really finish the meal. If you're looking for some real hot jap curry, go try the one at coco ichibanya, if I never remember wrongly is the level 2 curry instead of level 1. The level 2 is really hottttt!

It's been awhile since i cooked my most 拿手 prawn aglio olio,  I will cooked it soon too :). stay tuned.

Btw, I was super fed up with my  blackberry for the whole of last weekend. My blackberry touchpad can scroll but i can't click. I'm thinking of repairing it or just wait for the white ino plus to be launch. But i think sooner or later i confirm need to get ino plus because my blackberry like going to die anytime though i haven't use it for a year yet. -_-". If i repair it, i got to use back my E51 for like 1-2 days while waiting. Tried turning my E51 on and it's still working fine. Nokia phones are really lasting. I shall see how long i can ta han my blackberry.

AONE Claypot House and Thai Express @ Jurong Point

I believed many have seen before AOne Claypot House or A1 porridge at neighbourhood foodcourt. I first came across AOne Claypot House when i'm having lunch at AMK hub food court haha. I loved their hotplate tou fu with rice and soup. It cost $6.90. I've also tried their other hotplate dishes during lunch but their hotplate beancurd is my no.1 favourite hehe. 

When i come to know Jurong Point is going to open AOne Claypot House I got so excited but it was quite a disappointment. Since they have a shopfront now to sell their food, all the price went up. :(. I could no longer find the price I find at food court in that restaurant. I didnt know about it so I decided to bring boy there to try their Claypot Frog Leg since i have never tried their frog leg before too. I always eat the one at chinatown :)

Okay you can't really see the frog leg here cause I took photo of it before stirring it. The dish was not bad la, but its costly! If I never remember wrongly, it cost around $12.90 or so for 1 person share. At AMK Hub foodcourt i can get  $8.90 for a 1 person share.  

The AOne Claypot House do have hotplate tou fu but it costs $16.90. Not worth it! I will just go back amk hub to eat during lunch then. lol. 

We also ordered this fried egg with cai pu and onion but we prefer fu rong egg afterall. The egg costs us $5/$6, cant really remember but is like normal 'zu chao' standard and also price.

Doubt we will go back there again for dinner since everything is so costly when we can just go normal foodcourt which have AONE Claypot stalls to have the exact same dishes.
