Brunch @ Sunday Market

My first brunch with highness in 2016 was at Sunday Market. Our initial plan was to go to Plain Jane but we were quite disappointed because there wasn't any proper brunch being served there other than cakes hence we went to another brunch location nearby.

We walked from Plain Jane to Sunday Market (it wasn't that near nor too far and there are no direct transport between 2 places so we have to resort to walking) instead. They are all located at Serangoon area.

Finally reached after a somewhat 10-15 mins walk under the hot sun.

The exterior of the cafe is a good #ootd spot.

Here are some pics of the menu..

We got our seats pretty quickly as the cafe is not full house yet. Thankful for that as we can quickly enjoy the air con after walking in the hot sun for 15 mins or so.

The interior of the cafe is vintage style. They have lots of interesting and unique display around.

So here's what we ordered..

Thai Milk Tea - $6.50

This Thai Milk Tea is one of their signature drink and I must say, it's one of the better Thai Milk Tea I've drank before even though the price is really expensive.

Tender Loving Care - $15.90

Highness had this for her main. Portion is huge and she couldn't finish it. If we would have known the portion served is so huge, we could have just shared a main and a dessert and it will be just nice for us.

Smoked Salmon & Cheese - $12.90

I ordered this because of it's smoked salmon. I loves everything that goes with smoked salmon because somehow it never goes wrong. Portion is huge too and for this price, it's worth it.

Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream -  $3.80/scoop

Our dessert was the Thai Milk Tea Ice cream. I know #everythingthaimilktea haha! Can't really squeeze down any waffle ice cream so just ice cream will do. Thai milk tea overload after this brunch session.

#onthetable -what a yummy spread of food!

After the brunch, we reminded ourselves to take #ootd shots outside the #ootd worthy shop front.

Highness's ootd taken by me!

Nicely taken by highness :)

Overall, I find the food is delish and it's worth a try for those who loves cafe hopping. The cafe is not that accessible but I do remember there's more than 1 buses going to that area from Serangoon bus interchange.

Till the next cafehoping trip then :)
