This week i have 2 buffet lunch~ -__-". or should i say 3?? omg. Monday we went vivo's swensens earl, they served this lunch set meal which comes with buffet salad! Was really very filling and is not that costly. The setmeal is 16.90++ or 17.90++ depends what u order! But really worth it! And this swensens earl restaurant is only at vivo if i'm not wrong.
Then on wednesday, 11 of us went to Ban Heng Restaurant at habourfront centre for dim sum lunch buffet! A farewell for lester with all the seniors. We'll be holding another farewell in feb for him. It was also not costly. 15.80++ per person! But the service was quite fast. We ordered around 3 rounds and then head back to office le. So sinful!
Friday was our company CNY shopping! Which means no work! I was part of the organising team so it was pretty tiring la~ got to make sure everybody get on the bus and nobody is left behind. Come to think of it next up is feb 2nd lou hei lunch!
Anyway the cny shopping day itinerary is go woodlands factory outlet to shop in the morning, then go east coast tung lok for dim sum lunch buffet(AGAIN!!!), then chinatown at 3pm! As i was the one planning the morning itinerary, i sort of know what to get from each palces we go. Something new this year was the taiwan snack house in woodlands! It really sells many taiwan stuff even though is just a small place. We went to a multistorey carpark which sells really nice yam paste, and also the fragrance bak kua factory outlet!
I've bought quite a lot of stuff for myself and my family la! Though i have to be part of the organising team, but thanks goodness i have jia jun and dean to help me carry my stuff. =). Oh ya alyssia a new girl which will be coming to out office at around feb also tag along with us! She's a indian chinese mix. Glad to have another girl around lol. Looking forward to her joining us in feb! =)
The lunch at east coast tung lok restaurant, another dim sum buffet and is $23 Nett! not bad right? And cause i just had a dim sum lunch buffet on wednesday, i can really compare which is better. I'm not going to eat anymore dim sum buffet for the next few months. sick of it. lol. I'm defintely looking to the cny shopping day next year! =)
Sat which is yesterday, i went over to boy's house to pass his mum all the cny stuff that i bought for her. And it was her birthday on friday! Bought her fragrance bak kua, bengawan solo cny goodies and yam paste from factory outlet! Boy then went to get his mum favourite strawberry classic cake from prima deli to celebrate her birthday!
Dec 24th 2011 - Xmas Eve!
Watched sherlock holmes in the day before going to nihon mura at jurong west SRC to have our dinner! Have wanted to go there to try because every monday i will go to jurong west SRC after work for exercise session! I've been passing by there but no chance to try it! Finally got a chance to try it! Jurong west SRC has a very nice swimming pool!
We had our buffet dinner there! I think is better than sakae for sure! Because no matter what color plates, u can just order without adding extra $$.
Xmas logcake i bought for my family from breadtalk! All the cakes from breadtalk this year are super cute! =)
