Dinner @ Timbre + - Two Wings

Back to writing my usual post after a long post of reflection of 2016. Crossing fingers that I can keep up with the momentum of updating this space more often than before.

I've visited Timbre+ last year for a dinner with colis and also a coli who just came back from overseas job attachment. We chose Timbre+ simply because none of us have been there and there seems to be a great variety of food offered at Timbre+.

I did my research and long decided on having Two Wings even though Dancing Crab seems to be a popular choice at Timbre+ too. 

Btw, it's free seating at Timbre+ so do go there early to 'chope seats' and do note that the whole place is open air (meaning it's not air-conditioned) so do wear appropriately to have a better experience :)

I queued for Two Wings with another coli after getting our seats. 

It's quite smoky in there especially during peak period (due to poor ventilation) hence the pictures all turns out blur-y/foggy.

Eventually, we decide to order the Squad Meal which was their promotion item at that time.

On a random note, they has this really cool tray return area whereby you can return your food tray and get a $1 refund from the machine. So cool right? :)

This system seems to be very effective as everyone bother to clear their tables before leaving the place thanks to the $1 refund. They simply do not need cleaners to go around clearing plates/trays anymore. 

Enough of my randomness, below are pictures of the food we ordered (not only from Two Wings but I can't really remember the exact name of the various stalls there)..

It's from the same Jap stall. Even though the food is not cheap, but it  taste pretty good and the portion is huge. I must say it's good for the big eaters out there.

So yup, they served french food too. It's also quite pricey but the portion is huge too. 

Do bear in mind there's no service charges there :)

Hereby presenting to you the Squad Meal from Two Wings... 

Comes with 2 drinks, 3 side dishes and 12 pieces of wings and drum (We chose the salted egg flavour ones) 

I clearly remember it was all for $29.90. Pretty worth it I must say, and it can be shared among 3 people instead of 2.

The various side dish which is enough to feed all 5 of us. There's fries, calamari and popcorn chicken. 

The wings were really good and infact food we had that night were good. It's really convenient to be able to enjoy all the various different cuisine in 1 place. Will definitely go back there one of these days and it's a pity this place only came up after I moved out from the western side of Singapore.

On a side note, there's also a live band performing there when we were there but it can be quite disruptive as it's too noisy for us to hear what each other is talking about. We basically have to be on top of our voices. 

And also, Timbre+ is pretty accessible as it's located a walking distance from One North MRT Station. Highly recommended to check this place out if you are near there because of the variety of yummy food choices over there!
