Three by Table Concepts @ Seletar Mall

During one of those weekends whereby we have the luxury to sleep in till late, we usually will go a late lunch before doing our grocery shopping.

That's how weekends are to us nowadays unless there's gatherings at our place. If not it will be the usual pak tor date at supermarket, getting whatever that's needed for the coming week and back to doing housework.

Few weeks back, we went to have lunch at this restaurant called Three @ Seletar Mall. This restaurant only started it's operation a few weeks after it's official opening. It's a open concept restaurant right outside the foodcourt. When we first passed by there, it was still renovating.

FYI, there's a few open concept restaurants in Seletar Mall, for example Sushi Express and Fish & Co.

Anyway, we chanced upon Three and felt that it does serves a really wide variety of food hence we went in to give it a try.

If you ever wonder why is it called Three, that's because it served Thai, French and and Japanese cuisine.

It's basically a collaboration between these three restaurants. Zakka, Serio and French Table.

You may order food from any of this three restaurants and in the menu, there's also fusion dishes for example pineapple fried rice and duck confit!

Below are some examples of the fusion dishes they have...

Take for example the Tom Yum fried rice and Cripsy fish which costs $13.80. I've seen people ordering that and the portion is really huge!

This is just part of their menu, their menu have many many pages and we got a really hard time deciding what to have because everything seems so tempting :)

Anyway after spending much time deciding what to eat ( we usually spend 10 minutes maximum to decide but this time round I'm pretty sure we spend more time than usual), here's what we ordered.

I think we really miss BKK a lotm in the sense we ordered mainly Thai food lol.

Thai Iced Tea for us to share ($4.50)

Bacon Aglio Olio (less than $10)

Thai Basil Pork Rice - $13.80

It's our first time trying out Thai Basil Pork that's not home cook by yours truly. It's very yummy and super spicy. On normal days I definitely don't add that much chilli as compared to theirs. It's also a sweeter version than my version.

Seafood Tom Yum Soup - $6 ++

Very spicy too and comparable to that of Thai Express. Derp loves tom yum soup that looks really harmless and infact it's actually very spicy lol.

Last but not least, we even ordered a Thai Dessert. Told you, we really missed BKK a lot haha! We hardly add on desserts to our meals but this is really tempting.

Mango Sticky Rice - $6

It's definitely on the pricey side for this dessert because you can easily get it for $2-3 SGD in BKK.

But all the calories and money is worth it as the glutinous rice was really very authentic and nice! The portion is huge as compared to the ones we ate at road side store in BKK.

I'm already spreading good words about them when colis/friends asked me what's nice at Seletar Mall. The variety of food they served is what impressed me the most and that would means their chefs know how to cook all three cuisines Since it's a open concept restaurant, I took a look at how many chefs they have and to be honest, there's only 6-7 of them. Totally impress!

FYI, There's quite a number of mains they served which are below $10. Affordable pricing!

I'm for sure going back there for more meals with colis/ Derp to try out other cuisines served at there.

Hopefully they will come up with lunch sets soon :)
