MasterCard Theatres @ Marina Bay Sands, DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe

Derp and I had a chance to watch a movie at the MasterCard Theatres @ Marina Bay Sands thanks to my MIL who was a member. She's entitled to a pair of tickets which she kindly gave to us.

We were there early to collect the tickets because the seats were on first come first served basis. But actually we do realize there's not a need to (I'll write more later one).

We had lunch with my MIL and then we had some time to kill before the movie starts.

Walked around MBS and spot this xmas tree!

Mandatory #OOTD shot

#welfie of us

We went to the entrance of the Master Card Theatre to wait to enter the theater. There was lots of people and the waiting area is quite big actually. There were stalls selling snacks/drinks but I don't think I spot popcorn? After all, this is not a 'cinema' so it kind of lose out to the normal cinema.

Probably more suitable for those musical kind of show or concert.

In the theater :)

There wasn't any commercial or whatsoever before the movie start. The theater was MUCH bigger that we expected hence there wasn't a need for us to choose seats that were way too back. Or rather, it's better if you sit closer to the theater screen.

But anyway, Lulu the movie was awesome! Had a good laugh throughout the movie.

Derp and I went to have some dessert to kill time before we head off to somewhere again. Initially, we were all set on High Society but we got distracted after we went to the top floor and saw DC Comics Super Hero Cafe

DC Comics Theme Ice Cream on sale.

A variety of cakes which tempt us to have our dessert/high tea there.

More cakes!

The beverage menu.

So here's what we ordered...

The Joker Rainbow Cheese Cake

Probably the most instagram worthy cake. Can't remember how much it cost but all I remember was it's not cheap at all. If my memory never fail me, it cost more than $10 or slightly less than $10.

No cake is complete without coffee!

Clark Ket's Capuccino - $6.90

The coffee was not bad even though it was overpriced. As for the rainbow cheesecake, it totally taste weird. Taste like bubble gum cake to me probably because of the rainbow flavored in it. Should have just stick to the convention cheesecake, at least it won't go wrong.

I felt that the cafe is overrated and not worth the hype due to the highly over priced food. In my opinion, it's only worth going once to have the experience of it will be suffice.
