Wing Zone @ Century Square

We hardly go to far places on Sunday but this time round we hop over to Tampines area. We went back to visit Derp's mum in the late afternoon before meeting our wedding's emcee in the evening.

Yay to another thing being checked off the to-do list for wedding :) More things to go but step by step, we'll get there.

We hardly dine around Tampines area because our usual hang out is only around Derp's Mum's place. There were many new eateries popping around the central area, many which we did not see before.

At first we wanted to try Chicken Up but the queue was way too long. We were quite famished by then so we did not queue for it.

From what I know, it has opened for quite sometime but the queue on a Sunday's evening is still very long. We gave it a miss and decide to have out dinner at this place call Wing Zone located at Century Square.

They have lots of flavors for their chicken.

The menu.

They do have a variety of chicken types, ranging from wings, tenders, drum sticks and grilled burgers. You can have it ala-carte or a meal completed with their sides (rice/fries) and drinks.

There's this big screen playing videos for their customers to watch while eating.

We were told that our orders will only be ready in 15-20 minutes time as they only cook the chicken upon ordering.

I ordered the Garlic Pram 6 pieces boneless chicken. It was suppose to taste slightly spicy but I totally can't taste it at all.

On a side note, I do love their wedges alot! Very sinful I know because it's carbs, but it's really good.

Derp ordered the 4 piece tenders meal. He chose the buffalo bliss for the chicken flavour. We were quite disappointed to find out that one actually dip the chicken tenders into the buffalo bliss sauce.

The sauce were given separately and the chicken is not marinated with the sauce.

Overview of what we ordered.

You can spot the buffalo sauce at the bottom right hand corner of the tray.

Both of our orders were supposed to taste slightly spicy but we totally did not taste the spicy-ness at all. Servings size were more than the average than the various fast food chain and as for price wise, the price is comparable to that of Nene Chicken/Four Fingers.

Oh well, it's worth giving it a try because it's totally different from the standard korea-style chicken. Yay to another not-so long queue fast food chain which serves reasonable priced food and it's halal certified :)

Till the next review then!
